Experience:

I have built at least 5 computers from parts. I have also been maintaining computers for several years and did computer lab maintenance while attending the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts.

 

My strongest skill is in computer programming and I've written my own game programs. I can program in C, C++, Pascal, Basica, and Java, know some Visual Basic, Unix shell scripting, html, and database management (mostly ACCESS). I have also set up a local area network of 7 computers and a router.

 

My interests include martial arts, electronics, and all things related to computers.  I especially have an interest in  image processing, signal processing, compression and encryption methods.

 

Education:

I am working towards a dual degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I am a senior at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. This is my last year of a 5 year  program and I expect to graduate in 2004. Present GPA 3.2/4.0.

 

My junior and senior years of high school were at the Louisiana School for Math,Science and The Arts for the gifted located on the campus of Northwestern University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. My freshman and sophomore years were at Montgomery High School in Montgomery Township,New Jersey, just north of Princeton. My primary education included schools in Ohio, California, New Jersey and St. Croix in the Virgin Islands.

GRE score of 1440, 5.5 on writing

Advanced Placement Scholar with Honors.

Listed in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

Placed first in Math Counts competition for the Virgin Islands and competed in Washington, D.C. 1993.
